Cappadocia had been on my bucket list for so long that you can only imagine my excitement when I was finally able to tick it off last summer. 2019 was definitely not our year and 2020 feels like a decade already. It has been a long while since we’ve visited this space but here we are, lockdowned like the rest of the world, daydreaming of places we’ve been and other destinations we would love to see. Birthdays are the days when I guess most of us would remove people from our Facebook friends list, because as the notification of “It’s John Smith’s birthday today. Send him good thoughts!” pops up, we realize we don’t know who John is, we either genuinely forgot, vaguely remember or for whatever reason simply aim to undo the act of adding or accepting him as a friend.
