Discover Marrakech

Last November I was lucky to have the opportunity to visit Marrakech. I’ve always been curious about the so-called “Red City” and believed it would be a different experience and I was right! Yes, it is crowded and chaotic yet authentic and unique. It can be overwhelming and intense but exotic and beautiful. Continue reading “Discover Marrakech”

Magical Cappadocia

Cappadocia had been on my bucket list for so long that you can only imagine my excitement when I was finally able to tick it off last summer. It was a magical trip filled with spectacular experiences I’ll cherish forever. Once you set foot in Cappadocia, you will feel you’ve just entered a fiction movie set thanks to its lunar-like- landscape and rocky wonderland. The sunrise with the sky full of hot air balloons is a dream and it will for sure take your breath away. So be ready for an unforgettable journey! Continue reading “Magical Cappadocia”

Discovering Bali Part II

2019 was definitely not our year and 2020 feels like a decade already. It has been a long while since we’ve visited this space but here we are, lockdowned like the rest of the world, daydreaming of places we’ve been and other destinations we would love to see.  Despite people reading less and scrolling more, we still find ourselves checking out articles and recommendations every time we are planning for a trip.

Discovering Bali – Part I

If you are considering a trip to Bali or simply want to savor a slice of Balinese culture this post is for you. This Indonesian island is so charmingly diverse that I couldn’t fit all the tips and photos that I wanted to share in a single post so here you have part 1. 6 Things to Do in Antwerp

When you hear the word Antwerp, only one word might come to mind: Diamonds. It is indeed the diamond capital of the world but there is much more to this charming city than precious stones. It is only 30 minutes away from Brussels and you are bound to experience an interesting cultural contrast fueled by breathtaking architecture, vibrant shopping, and delicious chocolate! PARIS, THE CITY

“It’s not the place but the company” might apply to many cities but not Paris. No matter what time of year, reason of visit or duration of your trip, you will always feel accompanied even when walking alone. It is about the place, not the people. It is about its raw beauty, not the coveted fashion weeks. It might be the awe-inspiring monuments, imposing all their beauty while still inviting nature at every corner of every boulevard. Natural High

Whenever you tell someone you are traveling to Amsterdam, they directly gift you their wildest smirks and probably wish you a very high time. It is certainly the city of freedom where the illegal and prohibited elsewhere is pleasantly accepted and encouraged. But apart from all the cannabis coffee shops and the buzzing red light district, Amsterdam is a city rich in culture. Continue reading “Natural High”

Wild Birthday

Birthdays are the days when I guess most of us would remove people from our Facebook friends list, because as the notification of “It’s John Smith’s birthday today. Send him good thoughts!” pops up, we realize we don’t know who John is, we either genuinely forgot, vaguely remember or for whatever reason simply aim to undo the act of adding or accepting him as a friend. Yesterday’s birthday notification on people’s screens had my name on it and I was happy to find out that the awesome friends I care about took the time to write and wish me a great day. And for that I am thankful. Continue reading “Wild Birthday”

It exists

115 heavenly islands located in the Indian Ocean, where time appears to stand still and the color blue takes up new hues you were certain did not exist. The Seychelles. Just like pictures won’t give it justice, words will fall short. Can you really find a befitting description to a place where the lush tropical smell, nature’s buzzing sound, and the locals’ carefree spirit are the main components? Not really. But you can tell people that it exists. Continue reading “It exists”
