Hope this helps and if you have any questions please feel free to drop me a line. And remember, wherever you end up going, most importantly, go with someone you love!

“It’s not the place but the company” might apply to many cities but not Paris. No matter what time of year, reason of visit or duration of your trip, you will always feel accompanied even when walking alone. It is about the place, not the people. It is about its raw beauty, not the coveted fashion weeks. It might be the awe-inspiring monuments, imposing all their beauty while still inviting nature at every corner of every boulevard. Whenever you tell someone you are traveling to Amsterdam, they directly gift you their wildest smirks and probably wish you a very high time. It is certainly the city of freedom where the illegal and prohibited elsewhere is pleasantly accepted and encouraged. But apart from all the cannabis coffee shops and the buzzing red light district, Amsterdam is a city rich in culture. Continue reading “Natural High”
Birthdays are the days when I guess most of us would remove people from our Facebook friends list, because as the notification of “It’s John Smith’s birthday today. Send him good thoughts!” pops up, we realize we don’t know who John is, we either genuinely forgot, vaguely remember or for whatever reason simply aim to undo the act of adding or accepting him as a friend. Yesterday’s birthday notification on people’s screens had my name on it and I was happy to find out that the awesome friends I care about took the time to write and wish me a great day. And for that I am thankful. Continue reading “Wild Birthday”
115 heavenly islands located in the Indian Ocean, where time appears to stand still and the color blue takes up new hues you were certain did not exist. The Seychelles. Just like pictures won’t give it justice, words will fall short. Can you really find a befitting description to a place where the lush tropical smell, nature’s buzzing sound, and the locals’ carefree spirit are the main components? Not really. But you can tell people that it exists. Continue reading “It exists”
We take pictures when we travel. Incessantly. Like a reflex, our cameras start snapping every time we encounter that scenery or coffee shop. And when we are back home, longing for a place that fleetingly really felt like home, pictures seem to be the only way we can know that even though it seemed like a dream, it was all real. Continue reading “Souvenirs to Bring Home”
If you google the top things you should do in a lifetime, watching the sunset in Oia- Santorini is always part of those lists. What they fail to mention is that if you do it while sharing your best friend’s wedding, you will be ticking more than one box.
Everyone has bucket lists. Visit, eat, watch, travel, jump… Continue reading “Ticking off Sunsets”
It has been a while but here we are! It is just incredible how easily days bundle up into weeks and we just find ourselves wanting to share but with no time to spare. In a nutshell: October has been great and the cherry on top? Our escape to Barcelona! Is it the eternal blue sky, or the delicious ham? Seeing La Sagrada Familia’s change or watching your team play? Maybe the works of Gaudí or the craziness of Dali? It was not our first visit to the Catalonian capital but for some reason it always feels like it. Continue reading “Postcards from Barcelona”
