“It’s not the place but the company” might apply to many cities but not Paris. No matter what time of year, reason of visit or duration of your trip, you will always feel accompanied even when walking alone. It is about the place, not the people. It is about its raw beauty, not the coveted fashion weeks. It might be the awe-inspiring monuments, imposing all their beauty while still inviting nature at every corner of every boulevard.
It is about its raw beauty, not the coveted fashion weeks.
Maybe it is the history being whispered to you as you stroll past churches where centuries back people used to gather, and still do. Maybe it is the Seine powered by the Eifel tower and complemented by the beauty radiating from the Louvre. Or maybe it is all just the product of a city that has been marketed and romanticized for so many years that your opinion is not truly yours. No matter what it is, we always keep going back.
