They say people have the tendency to beautify things they have never actually seen. We have the tendency to fall digitally in love with a bag only to be disenchanted the minute we are done unwrapping the delivery box. We have the tendency to love social media personas we have never met, only to shake their hands and start wondering. We haphazardly use terms like bohemian and gypsy without realizing they had a different meaning long before they started appearing on glossy magazine covers.
Today we are posting pictures we took a few weeks ago. Yes, we also have the tendency to get caught up with work and delay posting. We are really happy about the outcome because it caught the mood we were in. We are not bohemians, it takes more than a free spirit to qualify as one but we are ok with it.

This dress was beyond discounted on those Zara forgotten shelves, and the boots were piling up dust in our summerhouse. But it worked. We looked at things we had probably seen a thousand times and just forgot about them and rewired. Just as we have the tendency to love things we have never actually seen, we all have the tendency to forget those we keep on seeing. So just take a few steps back and rediscover. Maybe someday further down the line you can have that moment and hopefully it will not only involve clothes but also people, places and memories.
