If you are considering a trip to Bali or simply want to savor a slice of Balinese culture this post is for you. This Indonesian island is so charmingly diverse that I couldn’t fit all the tips and photos that I wanted to share in a single post so here you have part 1. During my stay, I visited some beautiful landmarks and like all my travels, felt most alive while discovering something new. Hope this helps and if you have any questions please feel free to drop me a line. And remember, wherever you end up going, most importantly, go with someone you love!
Hello Honey!
We’ve previously voiced out our love for Jo Malone, and it really counts, given that fact that we are not declaring our affection towards products every day of every week, so when we say we love something we honestly do. As I write these words, I am embraced by Jo Malone’s English Pear and Fresia scent that has made sure my new home smells like a 5* hotel but the latest favorite: Honeysuckle & Davana fragrance. Is it in Lebanon?
Is it in Lebanon? That’s the question you get asked every time you share a picture of a green space or stunning scenery. Our skeptical selves are not to blame since day after day we are experiencing how our beautiful country ages, and unfortunately, not very gracefully. We are constantly witnessing how developers are threatening Beirut and other cities’ architectural heritage by replacing corners that hold so much history with modern skyscrapers. Unfortunately, we don’t feel there is much we can do but pay close attention to our surroundings and enjoy what now seems like an ephemeral place. Continue reading “Is it in Lebanon?”
Taking a Break
It’s the season, one fashion week followed by another fashion week. The cities might change but more often than not the captions, poses and people remain all the same. As much as we love it, it can be a little bit too much sometimes. The unbearable truth: even nectar is poison if taken to excess. Instagram might be the culprit, fueled by people’s incessant need to fit in by wearing the latest “IT” anything. We all might fall into the trap occasionally. And it’s all right as long as we make a conscious effort to remember to take a break. Detox your wardrobe and your mind. Get comfy by wearing whatever makes you happy, be it a sweater and pants, or a long sequined dress.

Forget about Instagram, likes and the latest runway trend. You can be aware of where fashion is going, you just don’t have to always follow it. Continue reading “Taking a Break”
All Day Maxi
We usually tend to think of long dresses as a night-outfit option but there is nothing more attractive than an unexpected maxi dress during the day, even more so if it is filled with a striking print. Long gone are the days when what dictated your outfit was the place or time of outing, now it’s all in your mind. If you feel like it, just wear it! Continue reading “All Day Maxi”
The Basket Bag
What once was humble has become an “it” item. Following the path of torn out jeans and worn out tees (pieces destined for the bin before they were classified as cool), the basket bag has now stepped in. Before waking up to finding every straw bag sold out, it was a bag that we used to use for the beach and if you were traveling to places like Bali, it would be their equivalent of a plastic bag. We are honestly delighted by the transformation. Continue reading “The Basket Bag”
Instagram Jeans
Some trends are so pretty you feel they were made for Instagram. Pearl-embellished jeans seem to be one of them. It’s been a while since we put our skinny jeans to rest and have dutifully embraced wide leg pants, flares, and high-waist jeans but adding something so small and delicate as pearls definitely doubles the outfit glam. These Zara pants are probably one of their bestseller items this season, and it’s easy to see why. The pearls seem to barely be touching the denim, giving off a fairy vibe. Outfit Bells
Nothing says < Good style doesn’t have to be complicated> like a bell sleeve top, its movement automatically sends off a cool signal. No need for a splash of color or print, the mere presence of a few extra inches of textile at the end of a sleeve can and go a long way, especially when leather is involved. Continue reading “Outfit Bells”
PARIS, THE CITY
“It’s not the place but the company” might apply to many cities but not Paris. No matter what time of year, reason of visit or duration of your trip, you will always feel accompanied even when walking alone. It is about the place, not the people. It is about its raw beauty, not the coveted fashion weeks. It might be the awe-inspiring monuments, imposing all their beauty while still inviting nature at every corner of every boulevard. Continue reading “PARIS, THE CITY”
YOU ME BEIRUT
This is not yet another inspirational post about Beirut, there are a handful of those out there and we honestly think that loving the city you live in should not awaken pride or grant merit, it should simply be a duty.

Despite the everythings and nothings, it is home and parading its name around will always feel trendy. Pair anything with a midi black skirt and you will almost feel responsible for finding striking colored heels and that clutch that matches. Are you with me? Continue reading “YOU ME BEIRUT”
