Bohemians, Perhaps

They say people have the tendency to beautify things they have never actually seen. We have the tendency to fall digitally in love with a bag only to be disenchanted the minute we are done unwrapping the delivery box. We have the tendency to love social media personas we have never met, only to shake their hands and start wondering. We haphazardly use terms like bohemian and gypsy without realizing they had a different meaning long before they started appearing on glossy magazine covers. Continue reading “Bohemians, Perhaps”

Discovering Inspiration

Do we get inspired after a change or do we change because we get inspired?

The lines are blurred, at least for us, and as we are changing and getting inspired and then changing again we have decided to introduce a new category to the blog: DISCOVER. We intend to share anything from photos to mood boards to music to quotes. They might not always be our own creation but their distinctive grouping is, and that we hope inspires something new.

And while you are at it, change the road that takes you home, how much sugar you put in your coffee or the first few lines you read every morning. You are bound to discover something new.

And it was all yellow

Longing for next summer when we’ve only said goodbye to this one. It happens to all of us, missing the moment while we’re in it. Yet we are taking solace in knowing that Autumn tends to be shy and we can still enjoy the beach hair, loose bright dresses and colorful jewelry, even if only for a few more weeks. The Thread Top

A while ago we were introduced to Milia M and we couldn’t help but love their iconic thread top. The approach to wearing it is simple and just like Milia herself puts it: Just wear one item that feels like home and make sure your total look is tuned with the activity of the moment. We love the flow of the maxi skirt and the elegance of the top, both beautifully combined to create a dreamy yet confident look.
