Hello Honey!

We’ve previously voiced out our love for Jo Malone, and it really counts, given that fact that we are not declaring our affection towards products every day of every week, so when we say we love something we honestly do. As I write these words, I am embraced by Jo Malone’s English Pear and Fresia scent that has made sure my new home smells like a 5* hotel but the latest favorite: Honeysuckle & Davana fragrance. Pretty Things

We all like to look at pretty things, and sometimes it helps when a team of experts makes sure you get the maximum dose of beauty while looking just inside one room. Yesterday, I had the chance to attend an exclusive preview and private tour of the beautiful pop-up house installation by Harper Bazaar at Mall of the Emirates. I was taken on a guided journey of the house that started with a healthy treat recipe, followed by a room full of fashion dreams and limited edition items, ending with beauty tips. Discovering Chaumet

If we love jewelry with a story, you can imagine our sentiment towards a house that boasts more than two hundred and thirty five years of emperors, queens, popes, and tycoons, simply anybody who has ever been somebody. Every piece transmits the incredible amount of labor and detail that goes into it, and it manages to humble the spectator as it empowers the bearer. Continue reading “Discovering Chaumet”

Wild Birthday

Birthdays are the days when I guess most of us would remove people from our Facebook friends list, because as the notification of “It’s John Smith’s birthday today. Send him good thoughts!” pops up, we realize we don’t know who John is, we either genuinely forgot, vaguely remember or for whatever reason simply aim to undo the act of adding or accepting him as a friend. Yesterday’s birthday notification on people’s screens had my name on it and I was happy to find out that the awesome friends I care about took the time to write and wish me a great day. And for that I am thankful. Continue reading “Wild Birthday”

Coloring Inside the Lines

Childhoods vary immensely. Different cultures, countries, parents, schools, but no matter where you grew up, at some point someone must’ve asked you to keep inside the lines. But where do our crayons and markers go? At what age do we stop coloring? The answer might be Never.

The trend of adult coloring books has been going on for some time now. Continue reading “Coloring Inside the Lines”
