Dubai: a mirage of an oasis in the middle of the desert yet upon approaching, far from disappearing, it becomes real. As you walk by, you can’t help but be amazed by the newness of it all. Everything is just bigger. It’s as if you were looking through rose-tinted magnifying glasses. Buildings, shopping malls, fountains, even meals. Discovering Dubai took me to new heights and not only because I had the chance to see it all from the tallest building of the world (Bourj Khalifa) but because I got hope that with a clear vision anything can be built from scratch.
