The first badge we remember wearing was that of our school uniform, royal blue SJT initials resting on an impeccable white background, complemented by three stars.Fast forward a couple of decades and we are back to wearing badges but this time with more colors, a dozen of stars and a tribute to another place that has taught us a lot, Beirut.
Hybrid Coat
The sad fate of trends is that they come and go. Sometimes that particular hue we see all season can smoothly disappear the next. Some trends are recycled, adjusted or simply reintroduced to the market, a vicious circle we are pleased to reinforce. But what we appreciate dearly are hybrids, the mixture of two or more seemingly different items to create a new something. Continue reading “Hybrid Coat”
And it was all yellow
Longing for next summer when we’ve only said goodbye to this one. It happens to all of us, missing the moment while we’re in it. Yet we are taking solace in knowing that Autumn tends to be shy and we can still enjoy the beach hair, loose bright dresses and colorful jewelry, even if only for a few more weeks. Black or Grey
It is either black or grey. No matter how much we love colors, winter does that to our wardrobe. And we do love it, especially when the texture is what makes the items pop. Wearing the iconic Adidas Stan Smith’s while throwing in some dash of color makes us feel like we are taking the tennis courts to the streets!

Poncho Flashback
Growing up in South America is something. Tropical weather, Caribbean tides, and the infinite days of sunshine that make people smile, instantly. But some places are actually cold, so cold that they were home to winter garments like the Poncho. Since last fall, it has been invading the runways and people have adopted this typical Hispanic large sheet of fabric to keep themselves warm without risking comfort or movement. Just the perfect layering potential. Sun or no sun, we couldn’t be happier!

No Resolutions
Tomorrow is the last day of this year. We’ve had our share of beautiful moments and some others that did not make it to our page of love, where we only talk about what heightens our spirits. For everything, we are thankful. We will not make resolutions. We have discovered that the best things we have accomplished, we didn’t even know we were accomplishing. We won’t set goals and judge our selves upon completion. The world is already busy doing that on our behalf. We will only hope that like this outfit, we get to experience a year of harmony between the good and the not so good that is prone to happen. The dark instants and the pink moments, we will embrace it all and make it look like it perfectly works. Happy New Year!

We particularly love how the black leather skirt and denim shirt are tastefully harmonized by the magic of this black bow!
