Boots for Days

Winter feels fresh when wearing striking colors, even more so when it’s a footwear staple that carries the necessary pinch of needed hue. When shopping for these I was torn between two colors: deep blue and fiery burgundy, but then I opted for the boots that I thought I could match with more outfits. Continue reading “Boots for Days”

The Basket Bag

What once was humble has become an “it” item. Following the path of torn out jeans and worn out tees (pieces destined for the bin before they were classified as cool), the basket bag has now stepped in. Before waking up to finding every straw bag sold out, it was a bag that we used to use for the beach and if you were traveling to places like Bali, it would be their equivalent of a plastic bag. We are honestly delighted by the transformation. Continue reading “The Basket Bag”

Instagram Jeans

Some trends are so pretty you feel they were made for Instagram. Pearl-embellished jeans seem to be one of them. It’s been a while since we put our skinny jeans to rest and have dutifully embraced wide leg pants, flares, and high-waist jeans but adding something so small and delicate as pearls definitely doubles the outfit glam. These Zara pants are probably one of their bestseller items this season, and it’s easy to see why. The pearls seem to barely be touching the denim, giving off a fairy vibe. Global Realization

There was a time when ruffles were typically reserved for special occasions. Their imposing nature directly elevated any outfit a few notches up and a special event had to happen in order for them to exit the closet. Thankfully, we’ve come to the realization that a special day does not determine the worthiness of an outfit, but an outfit is what makes the day exceptional. Continue reading “Global Realization”

Accessories Matter

When you truly love accessories, the likelihood of finding one single piece that defines you is kind of low. You befriend rings, earrings, shoes, and you know that your relationship will last as long as the piece itself and at times it will transcend its life as you will still keep it in your closet, despite being tarnished, broken or out of trend, just for old times’ sake. Continue reading “Accessories Matter”

Your Own

In this day and age buying something is no longer the way of making it your own. It is only when you spice it up by giving it your personal touch that it actually happens. And no easier way to do it than by adding badges. The idea is to start off plain: a white or striped shirt and then collect things to decorate it from fruits to bats to anything you can find! Continue reading “Your Own”

Sleek and Shoes

Shoes send out a message and the beauty of its content is that it can be changed everyday depending on which pair you decide to wear. They are a less committed choice than a hair cut but equally important as they stand as the foundation of your image, literally. They take you places, literally. And we literally chase for that kill or limited edition. It’s just emotionally stimulating. Continue reading “Sleek and Shoes”

The Return

What goes around comes around and with their return, some items evoke a deep sense of nostalgia that can only be shaken off if we buy them again. The Backpack. If you are a 90s kid, you will probably struggle to remember when was it exactly that you stopped carrying all your stuff in the denim JanSport your mom got you for your birthday. When did the zizag hair parting go away and where is my mood ring? Continue reading “The Return”

NEW FEEL

How does it feel? Pretty much like that new hair cut, expensive bag bought on discount, the first bite out of your ice cream and meeting up with your bed after a long day, all happening in that same day, a Friday probably.

Yes, we are happy! We retouched the blog, injected it with new life by simply changing some tiles and painting the walls, all while making friends on blog forums as we discuss why widgets don’t always work. Continue reading “NEW FEEL”
