Is it in Lebanon? That’s the question you get asked every time you share a picture of a green space or stunning scenery. Our skeptical selves are not to blame since day after day we are experiencing how our beautiful country ages, and unfortunately, not very gracefully. We are constantly witnessing how developers are threatening Beirut and other cities’ architectural heritage by replacing corners that hold so much history with modern skyscrapers. Unfortunately, we don’t feel there is much we can do but pay close attention to our surroundings and enjoy what now seems like an ephemeral place. Continue reading “Is it in Lebanon?”
Revisiting
It had been a long while since I last spent more than two days in my precious Ehden. City life gets smoothly on the way and you just completely forget what it was like to spend a Wednesday morning climbing the natural reserve.
It had been a longer time since I was not able to do a legitimate ponytail and once you chop off the excess you realize why your mom insisted on letting it all go before school days returned. And wearing dungarees, well that has also been a while. Continue reading “Revisiting”
Your Own
In this day and age buying something is no longer the way of making it your own. It is only when you spice it up by giving it your personal touch that it actually happens. And no easier way to do it than by adding badges. The idea is to start off plain: a white or striped shirt and then collect things to decorate it from fruits to bats to anything you can find! Looking for Stardom
At often times we find ourselves disillusioned with what our closet has to offer, so we set off with a white top and start looking for layering partners. We contemplate the pieces we haven’t worn for a while and give them a second try. And sometimes outfits like these come up!
Is it a cape? No, but it could be. Does it give you special powers? Maybe. Continue reading “Looking for Stardom”
Behind the Lens
Her fashion sense is the visual equivalent of a diet that cuts out junk food and lives on the excess of pineapples. She twists and turns trends of today, yesterday and a few decades back to create her very own style. You just have to check out her blog to see that if it’s predictable, she won’t wear it. Continue reading “Behind the Lens”
Discovering who I AM
Discovering how your style evolves and having online proof is surely one of the many blogging perks. You get to see where you were and where you are going, your mood swings and shopping sprees. Continue reading “Discovering who I AM”
Shirts and Skirts
A plain shirt is the perfect match to any printed skirt. By looking at the different tones of any print, it is easy to spot which color is calling for attention. Particularly in this skirt, navy blue was the shy frontrunner and it felt only natural to add a classic denim twist.

Let’s Bow
A bow tie is to fashion what salt is to cooking, the ingredient that can make all the difference! It is by far the most versatile accessory you can have in your closet and no matter what shape or color you decide to wear, it will always pop up as the central piece of your outfit. We particularly love how the black leather skirt and denim shirt are tastefully harmonized by the magic of this black bow!

The beauty of color blocking lies in its surprise effect. At first, it might seem odd to pair an orange skirt with an electric blue top but once you see it, everything makes perfect sense! You can also let the bold accessories and shoes do the talking!
