We all have that one friend, the one you do not see very often, sometimes for years, but when you do, you just pick up right where you left off. It takes a split second after meeting them again to clearly remember why you love them. The connection is evident, and you wonder why they are not part of your everyday life.

At times, we get the same feeling when it comes to products.

Perhaps, it is the distraction of new launches, fancy events, or just the mere need for change. But then you see it again, and you remember. You remember that the Mosaique blush from Samoa cosmetics rose-tinted your school days all through university and that the nail polish by Samoa was the only one you used for the longest time. And you try it all again and you realize that they are still brilliant.

Last month, the Lebanese brand turned 40 and they celebrated it in a fabulous way! Every day for 40 days we were receiving one product ( a mix of the classics and the new), as a countdown to the big celebration party, we then enjoyed at Memory Lane-Beirut. The cherry on top? Working with an awesome team to create my signature make-up look for the season!
