Collaboration with Esposa Group

It’s the season! Bachelorettes, pre-wedding dinners, crammed hair-and-makeup appointments, not to mention the now famous destination weddings! No matter how many you attend, the first question your colleagues and friends always manage to ask is: How did the bride look? What about her dress? The trends come and go but one thing that is as important as it has always been is the bride’s dress. And the efforts to find the perfect one start almost a year ahead!

We are always excited by the countless possibilities of every day wear but let’s face it, a wedding day is one of the big days so when ESPOSA approached us to feature our favorite looks we were thrilled! We directly fell in love with the beautiful array of luxury designer dresses like Carolina Herrera, Rosa Clara, Lazaro, Marchesa, Monique Lhuillier, to name a few.

Even for those who are not fashion addicts, choosing a dress for that day will make you one! They say the bride directly knows when she finds the perfect dress. Well, we think that the wide range of beautiful gowns available at ESPOSA will make it a bit harder!

Last Night in Beirut: Dina JSR Boutique Opening

It is always gratifying to see outstanding talents. It is even more gratifying to see that these talents are Lebanese. Our latest designer crush: Dina JSR. Last night we got the chance to discover her fifth collection, Crystal Waters, in her new boutique in Saifi Village, Beirut. It has a showroom, a workroom and magic, lots of magic. Designed in Beirut, handcrafted in France, Dina JSR collections thrive in delicacy and elegance. While we enjoyed light snacks, good music and sweet ice-cream, we were stunned by Dina’s contagious passion towards her creations. Her inspiration for this latest collection was her very own wedding six months ago. She envisioned what she would have loved for people to be wearing on that special day and transformed it into a flowing collection of light blues, diluted pinks and purples, and warm limes. Her collections are already available in prestigious stores around the globe, but we can’t but feel proud that no matter where our talented people go,they always manage to come back home.

Bridal Boutique Opening: Something Blue

From the moment we went up the stairs, we felt we were up to something new. We were heading to Something Blue. Yesterday afternoon, we were pleased to attend the opening of the newest bridal boutique in town. The contrast of its beautiful architectural heritage and the modern feel of the rooms definitely left an impression. The new boutique carries a collection of gowns by five different New York based designers amongst them Rafael Cenamo and Ann Barge. It also provides a range of delicate head pieces and bridal image consulting sessions as explained by Cynthia Nakhle, owner and creator of the boutique’s concept. While sipping champagne and eating macarons, we enjoyed knowing that a new store is now offering brides beautiful dresses at affordable ranges while most importantly wishing them lots of luck!

Our Best Friend’s Wedding

By this time of the year, you might have already been to a dozens of weddings. The odds are a neighbor, a colleague or a childhood friend tied the knot this summer. We certainly did have our share of dinner parties but last Sunday it was different. That one friend you really call your best: our Nanunti. Fashionable as ever, she walked down the aisle, married the love of her life and danced all night! We enjoyed every single moment. We had three phones and two cameras but by the end of the night all we were left with were clapping hands. It really might be true that the best moments of your life and of those you love can’t be photographed; you are just too busy enjoying them. Here are some of the pictures we managed to take. And to the most striking bride we will say again: May this new phase of your life put your most beautiful dreams to shame. Love you.
