2019 was definitely not our year and 2020 feels like a decade already. It has been a long while since we’ve visited this space but here we are, lockdowned like the rest of the world, daydreaming of places we’ve been and other destinations we would love to see. Despite people reading less and scrolling more, we still find ourselves checking out articles and recommendations every time we are planning for a trip.
Discovering Bali – Part I
If you are considering a trip to Bali or simply want to savor a slice of Balinese culture this post is for you. This Indonesian island is so charmingly diverse that I couldn’t fit all the tips and photos that I wanted to share in a single post so here you have part 1. During my stay, I visited some beautiful landmarks and like all my travels, felt most alive while discovering something new. The Basket Bag
What once was humble has become an “it” item. Following the path of torn out jeans and worn out tees (pieces destined for the bin before they were classified as cool), the basket bag has now stepped in. Before waking up to finding every straw bag sold out, it was a bag that we used to use for the beach and if you were traveling to places like Bali, it would be their equivalent of a plastic bag.
